The Bike Parade

We had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend (and I had a wonderful birthday as well but more on that later). The highlight was definitely Katherine's first official Fourth of July Bike Parade at Fawn Lake. Her tricycle was all decked out courtesy of Gram. Miss K. even did a wonderful job of peddling on her own. She's really getting the hang of it.

After the parade there were popsicles for all of the participants. What a great picture (with the exception of the kid's butt cheeks in the background). Seriously, wouldn't you feel that? It can't feel too good. No matter. As usual K. was a socialite:
