Six Years!

Today is our six year anniversary. Above is one my favorite wedding pictures. If you told me six years ago where we would be today, I would have said you were crazy. The bride in that picture was a graduate student with her mind wrapped around finishing her dissertation. The groom was an Army Captain concerned with getting his discharge paperwork processed and finding his first civilian job. Heck, considering Operation Iraqi Freedom almost postponed our entire wedding, we were thrilled just to standing there together. I can't believe all that has happened over the past six years.

Pre-kid we would have been sure to go out for a night on the town at a fancy restaurant. Now we're content to spend the day at home playing with our favorite little girl. Funny how perspectives on what is important changes over the years.
