Two

Life is moving at a relentless speed around here.  It's already been a week since my baby boy turned two.  He went for his two year old checkup yesterday afternoon where he was declared to be a happy, healthy little boy.  At 27 lbs, he's holding steady at the 50th percentile.  The picture above was taken on his birthday, our little man in his dinosaur shirt standing for his yearly measurement on our makeshift growth chart on the molding to the garage door.  He doesn't resemble a baby one bit in that picture.  And while I could lament about all of his changes over the past year right now I'm thinking to the year ahead of us, where we will finally begin to hear everything you have to say (besides No, which you've learned to say to us but not follow it when we say it back to you), where we will (hopefully) say goodbye to diapers once and for all and where we (hopefully) will finally start getting full nights of sleep.

Happy Birthday to my little Teddy Bear!
