Coming to you from the recliner in the living room on this lovely fall, midweek afternoon. Why? Because last night I, yet again, busted my little toe. On this. How that resulted in the amount of pain that it did, I have no clue. But I decided this morning that it would be best to do what work I could from home with my foot up instead of attempting to hobble around work. It's only a week and half until the big race and I'm taking no chances. I didn't come this far to blow it because of a pinky toe.
Anyways, I've posted some pictures up on the photo site of our adventures this month which included a trip to Hill Ridge Farms and the State Fair. The kids loved both, although the State Fair was more for Katherine than Teddy. The little guy is still a bit small for most of the stuff at the fair. However, you may notice if you look closely that the curls in the back of his head are gone. They were getting a bit long and were started to bother him. So a few Saturdays ago, Ted gave him his first haircut. No pictures unfortunately because I was holding him while Ted did the cutting. I didn't think to hand Katherine the camera. We did save one of those precious curls though, tucked in an envelop with the date, to be included in his baby scrapbook that I've begun to map out. Like Katherine's it will probably take me a year or two to complete. We gotten a few complements on his haircut which is funny because Ted wasn't aiming for perfection. Just something to get us by until the top grew in a little more and he goes for his first real haircut. I'm also wondering if the curls are going to grown back because they look like they might.
I'll be adding to the photo album really soon with pictures of pumpkin carving and trick or treating. Should be interesting this year with two kids who are into it.
