Where'd my extra hour of sleep go?
Let's just say that Katherine is not a fan of this daylight savings time business right now. She went to bed last night only a few minutes later than usual with no problem but we had another groggy and grumpy morning. Yet again I dressed her in bed; she laid there like a rag doll and only perked up when I told her it was time to go downstairs for breakfast. Sitting on the potty? Oh no, she teared up at the mere suggestion. She asked to take her breakfast with her in the car (1/2 a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...whose granddaughter is she?) which was fine and I grabbed her sippee cup of milk to put in the fridge. This caused an absolute meltdown, apparently she wanted the sippee to go in the car as well. Who knew! Not that she touched either during the drive, she just put her head against the seat. I left her at daycare sitting with blankie and Ms. Yolanda, not crying but clearly not thrilled to be awake. Poor thing, we'll try again tomorrow.
