Here I am!

Funny little tidbit courtesy of Miss K...

Last night I was finishing up my dinner while K. was playing in the kitchen. She suddenly said "Where's Katherine?" (It sounded more like "Were Kat-rin?").
My reply: "I don't know, where is Katherine?"
Her reply: "Right here!" (She rubbed her belly while she said it).

Too cute!!!

She has also taken an extreme liking to Reeses. She's always been interested in the kitty but she's now starting to figure out how to actually play with her. Ted gave Katherine some ribbon and showed her how to move it around to get Reeses to play with it. She has a ball dragging it all over the place. What she doesn't understand is that Reeses is not always interested in playing with her, that sometimes the poor cat wants to be left alone. She'll chase her around the house going "Kitty....Kitty!" And she gets super annoyed when Reeses dares to interfere with her toys, a definite no no as far as Miss K. is concerned. Last night at bedtime the cat was perched on the back of the sofa, ready to lay down for a good nap. Katherine climbed up on the couch and gave her a kiss goodnight right on the nose. I held my breath, hoping that the cat would not try to take a swat at her, thankfully it was a sweet moment..."Night Kitty!"
