On Sunday I participated in the Nike "Human Race" 10k. This was a pretty neat idea where you could either run a traditional 10k in one of 25 cities across the world or run on your own and sync your Nike + run online to join in. The nearest 10k city was New York so I just ran by myself Sunday morning. I had been sick and taking an antibiotic that made me pretty tired so I hadn't run in about two weeks. I really didnt want to go on Sunday either but I didnt want to miss the race. I almost didnt go when I couldnt get my shoe sensor to work, but it came on and I went for a slow jog. Right now I placed 18221st worldwide but people have until tomorrow night to sync their runs so there might be some more coming in. There is an actual 10k race in Rocky Mount in two weeks that I think I am going to sign up for and run in.

Hi, We're checking in from Wyoming. We've joined up with the Streeters, Severns and Clucks and are having a great time. Yesterday we were in the Bad Lands and it was over 100. Tonight there's a frost warning, so we're seeing it all temperature wise. We'll be at Yellowstone tomorrow and not sure whether we'll have internet access. We'll post again the next time we can.
