Katherine had an absolute blast this weekend. Our little surprise party was just right for a budding two year-old. Ted already posted the pictures of the cake and decorations. Well, once Miss K. awoke from her nap were brought her downstairs for the reveal. From the top of the stairs she caught sight of some streamers and balloons and knew something was up. She could not wait to get down the stairs. Honestly at first her interest was purely on the balloons, which she referred to as "Noo's". However, she was thrilled with the kitchen set when she saw it, she immediately started opening the doors to the refrigerator and oven.
She didn't stay still for long because there were presents to open! Honestly, Mom and Dad ended up opening most of them for her because she was too busy playing. There were meals to make after the pots and pans were opened:
Cupcakes to bake...
And shopping to be done! The shopping cart was a big hit.
Of course there was also some time for a quick bite to eat and some birthday cake. 
What more could a little girl ask for? Right now, Miss K. is sound asleep after a very busy and exciting long weekend. There are way too many great pictures to post here, I need to get to work on the next photo album. A few more posts are probably in order too. We all had a wonderful time!
